Cape Greco, Cyprus — Destination Guide
Cape Greco National Forest Park — sea caves, coastal trails, the blue lagoon and some of the clearest waters in the Mediterranean.
Cape Greco (Cavo Greco) is a national forest park occupying the south-eastern headland of Cyprus. It's one of the most dramatic and beautiful stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean — sheer limestone cliffs, hidden sea caves, a vivid blue lagoon and coastal walking trails with views that are genuinely breathtaking.
The park sits between Ayia Napa and Protaras, and villas in this area give you access to both resorts while keeping you in a quieter, more scenic part of the coast. Konnos Bay — widely considered the finest beach in Cyprus — is on the edge of the national park.
Best time to visit Cape Greco
April through October for swimming and hiking. Spring (April–May) is exceptional for wildflowers across the park. Summer evenings on Cape Greco are particularly dramatic.
