Water Heating: Your holiday villa works with solar energy. On a cloudy day, you may need to use the water heating switch. The switch is located: outside the bathroom. Please select 15 – 30 – 60 mins; if not with a timer please remember to switch it OFF otherwise it will burn out. 1 hour is more than sufficient.
Water Supply / Pressure: In Cyprus, especially during peak summer months the local authorities can lower or even limit the water pressure and supply. These are usually short intervals and normally do not last more than a morning or afternoon. This may occur for any properties in the area and is not unusual.
Electricity Switches: On rare occasions due to the electricity supply in Cyprus there may be a power trip in your property. There is a switch box located inside your property upstairs and downstairs;
ALL switches must be UP. If inside all switches are UP; there is an electricity mains cupboard outside of your property which is located on wall of the house. Your meter has a La Mer Homes sticker next to it; and again the
switch should UP.
Electricity Allowance: Please note that rates include limited electricity allowance. Depending on the property you have reserved a weekly allowance of electricity has been allocated and included in your reservation. Each amount is more than sufficient for the average property size, number of guests and usage throughout your holiday. The amount below is for one week staying for 7 days, included will depend on the property type you have booked; Standard Apartments €50.00, Standard Villas €75, Luxury Properties €100, calculated at €0.24 per kilowatt. Prior to your arrival to the property a meter reading will be taken, the process repeated on your check out to calculate the exact consumption during your stay. In the event the consumption allowance has been exceeded the Company reserve the right to charge an extra €0.24 per Kw, and no further authorization is required.
Pests: In Cyprus with the hot climate it is common for cockroaches and ants to appear looking for shade. Your property has been sprayed at the beginning of the season but it is possible they may appear on rare occasions. This is not due to the cleanliness of the property. We have provided some extra spray and powder if necessary.
Rubbish: Your holiday villa has bins which are located: on the main road. Please be sure to throw any rubbish; unwanted food; before your check out.
Keeping the property and all its contents and grounds in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday is an obligation to your holiday Villa owner. You will be responsible for the payment for any breakages, loss or damage to the property caused by you or members of your party. The Company reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit (if any) for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning and to claim against you for damage or loss if the cost of which exceeds the security deposit.
