Ayia Thekla is a quiet stretch of the eastern Cyprus coast sitting between Ayia Napa and Protaras. It's a largely residential area with its own beautiful beach — one of the least commercialised on the east coast — and an atmosphere that feels genuinely off-the-beaten-track despite being minutes from two of Cyprus's most famous resorts.
The chapel of Ayia Thekla, partially carved into a sea cliff, is one of the most photographed spots on the eastern coast.
Best time to visit Ayia Thekla
April to October. The area is beautiful in spring and autumn when the main resorts are quieter.

Larnaca Airport is approximately 55 km away — a 40–45 minute drive.
