Pernera, Cyprus — Destination Guide

Explore the Pernera area — a quiet coastal village between Protaras and Paralimni with sandy beaches and local tavernas.

Pernera is a quiet coastal community sitting between Protaras and Paralimni on Cyprus's eastern coast. Less commercialised than its famous neighbours, it has its own sandy beaches, a handful of excellent seafront restaurants and a genuinely relaxed atmosphere that returning visitors particularly love.

The area has grown steadily in recent years with modern villa developments attracting guests who want Protaras-quality beaches with a more residential, less touristy setting. Many of our Pernera villas are in quiet streets just minutes from the coast.

Best time to visit Pernera

Pernera is pleasant from April through October. The quieter shoulder months — May, June, September and October — suit this area particularly well, as the relaxed atmosphere is enhanced further when the main resorts are less busy.

Getting to Pernera
