Set in the peaceful Ayios Elias area of Protaras, Sunset Villa is a charming two-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, perfect for families looking to unwind in a relaxed setting. The nearby Ayios Elias Church, perched on a granite hilltop with over 150 steps, offers a fun mini-adventure and spectacular panoramic views of the Mediterranean—especially beautiful when lit up at night.

The villa is just a short stroll to local shops and around 12 minutes on foot to the lively main strip of Protaras, where you'll find a wide selection of restaurants, cafés, and family-friendly beaches like Fig Tree Bay.

With window shutters and good privacy, Sunset Villa provides a safe and spacious outdoor area ideal for children to play while parents relax. The private pool is surrounded by sun loungers, outdoor seating, and a traditional Cypriot barbecue set in a mature garden.

Inside, the villa feels like a true home away from home, with an open-plan layout combining a bright living area, dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen—complete with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, and a large breakfast table.

The lounge includes a comfy sofa, a flat-screen TV, satellite channels, and Wi-Fi—great for downtime after a day at the beach. The dining table seats six, and a convenient guest WC is nearby.

There are two welcoming bedrooms that share a full family bathroom. One room has twin beds with access to the pool area—ideal for kids—while the other features a double bed. Both rooms are air-conditioned and include blackout blinds, bedside tables, and generous storage.

A great place to relax and chill. Staff are really helpful and are easily contactable to discuss any problems with villa which are resolved almost immediately.

Liked: Pool, room layout, comfortable, easy to relax, peaceful.

Improvements: Pads for the sun beds.

Nice location, dated facilities, felt like a budget villa!

Great location in terms of closeness to bars/restaurants but also away from nightlife and other villas which meant it was good for sleeping and privacy. Great response from maintenance when having ant issues and Key issues as there was problems unlocking the door. Pool cleaned frequently! Great blackout blinds and noise proof rooms which helped with trying to sleep with the heat and sunshine.

Improvements: Very difficult to find especially when landing late, had to take a taxi down the dirt track which isn’t signposted so took a long time to locate. Welcome pack very sparse, didn’t get to the property until early hours and shops were shut only 2 small bottles of water for a family of 4 in sweltering heat as well as Air Con turned off. Furniture dated and uncomfy, beds and pillows rock hard. Sun loungers with black metal not ideal given the heat and causes burning due to this. Big problem with Ants we had loads in cupboards and food which caused issues when living in a villa. No manual for Cooker/Hob which we couldn’t work properly as only the grill seemed to work so couldn’t actually cook which meant spending more money out than expected when bought food to cook.

Everything was so nice and smooth. The Villa is just stones away from amazing beaches in Protarars while at the same time it gives you privacy. Will definitely stay here again.

Improvements: Setting was great. Nice and quiet. A couple of issues we had were dealt with immediately which was great. Issues were nothing major but fast and friendly service. Pool cleaned every few days.
